THE STORY SO FAR...

​For Alonso, showbusiness wasn't so much a career choice... It was the family business.

​

A third-generation performer, Alonso grew up surrounded by entertainment. His father began his career as a professional drummer in a successful 1960s pop group before becoming a magician, while his mother worked as a costume designer.Alonso first took to the stage as a child, performing alongside his father and spent most of his childhood travelling internationally as part of the family's magic show.

THEn came the circus...​

​

Alonso began his own professional career under the big top as an

award-winning comedian and juggler, working with some of Europe's largest

circus productions.

​

His comedy education continued under alumni of the legendary Ringling Bros.

and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, developing the physical comedy, timing

and audience interaction that remain trademarks of his performances today.

His work went on to earn numerous accolades, including Best Comedy Act at

Spain's Festival Internacional de Circ and Clowns International's Taffy Stone

Award  for Best Comedy performance 2 years running.

Over more than 15 years as a professional performer,

Alonso has developed his unusual background into a

distinctive style of comedy magic that has taken him

from circus rings to theatres, comedy clubs, cruise ships,

international resorts, corporate events and television

around the world.

As a result, Alonso has also shared stages and worked

alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment,

including Brian Conley, Dara Ó Briain, Angellica Bell,

Frank Bruno, Carol Vorderman, Peter Andre, Gok Wan,
